During the last weekend of June (which may have also been the hottest weekend EVER), we went on an “adventure” to Southwest Arkansas.  We visited Crater of Diamonds State park, where you can dig for diamonds and keep what you find; Daddy Bob’s Orchard in Nashville, AR where we picked berries, went fishin’ and got dirty; Historic Washington State park in Washington, AR where we saw a really huge Magnolia, visited a farmer’s market, and met up with Mommie’s friend Stephanie and her boys; and DeGray Lake State Park where we camped in a Yurt (that’s a Mongolian round house, in case you are wondering), swam, cooked hot dogs and smores, and went horseback riding.
