April 4th marked the day for the big Woodlands Edge egg hunt.  I was very curious to see how this event would go, since I am on the activities committee for the neighborhood and had stuffed 200 of the 1500 eggs that were hidden for the hunt.  Craig was at a dental conference in Hot Springs, but thankfully, my Mom was wonderful enough to come and visit for the weekend and helped to wrangle the kids.  We all had a great time. It was a beautiful day, there were lots of kids there, and even the Easter Bunny came out to play.  Carina was happy to hug the Easter Bunny and sit on his lap.  However, Callen did not feel that this was an appropriate activity to end the day with.

Thank You Easter Bunny!

Both the kids seemed to enjoy the egg hunt, although they did not fully grasp the concept.  Carina got three eggs, and Callen got one.  Callen could have gotten a few more, but he wasted precious seconds trying to open the first egg he picked up.  Most importantly, there was a huge crowd of people to mingle with, which both of our social butterflies reveled in.
